Life Pilot is a band that is unmistakably ‘themselves’. This exciting Adelaide band was made for the sole purpose of playing heavy, in-your-face rock music with explosive live performances to match… and boy did they get it right.
Through Life Pilot’s debut release, 2012 EP, and their well received Compass split release, the band has received solid airplay on Triple J Programs: short.fast.loud, The Racket, Home & Hosed & Triple J’s Digital network, Unearthed. Topping the Unearthed Metal charts in 2012 with ‘I Won’t’, and a #2 with ‘By The Book’ in 2013.
Life Pilot has also been nominated for Triple J’s ‘Best Heavy Release’ and was selected as a featured artist by Triple J in the lead up to their performance at Soundwave Festival in 2013.
Come August 2013, Life Pilot will be taking their chaotic live performance to the East Coast with five dates and with a new single ‘Mambulance’.
These shows will no doubt be proof to what the hype is about and why everyone in the country should be keeping a very close eye on this band as they cement their place in the Australian hardcore & metal stable.
