FOMO Festival is so close, we can taste it. And, it tastes good! The final pieces of the festival puzzle are coming together and the team behind the one day, one stage inclusive festival have some exciting updates for you.
NEW ADDITION!
A very special guest will be joining the four festival shows. We’re welcoming South London grime icon and rapper Giggs (UK) who will be heading down under for the first time to grace us with his hard-hitting, often sinister rap, exclusive to FOMO 2020.
Giggs released his debut studio album Walk In Da Park in 2008 to critical acclaim and has released numerous albums since, with his fourth album Landlord (2016) reaching #2 on the UK Albums Chart. He’s been nominated for multiple BRIT Awards, and taken home MOBO and BET Awards.

The FOMO 2020 wait is over. The line up for the much loved one day, one stage, all inclusive festival is here. Taking in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne with some special shows in Perth and Auckland, the festival has already announced headliner BROCKHAMPTON and breakout UK artist, OCTAVIAN.
And now we can reveal the full FOMO line up in all its glory;
BROCKHAMPTON (USA)
KAYTRANADA (CAN)
LIZZO (USA)
MADEON (FRA)
JAX JONES (UK)
OCTAVIAN (UK)
RICO NASTY (USA)
MEDUZA (ITA)
CHILLINIT
WHIPPED CREAM (CAN)
DOMBRESKY (FRA)
and
NINAJIRACHI
Plus triple j Unearthed and local artists to be announced
Headed up by Kevin Abstract, the Texas-via-California rap collective BROCKHAMPTON defy all pre-existing stereotypes of a boy band. They are a self sufficient creative enterprise made of rappers, directors, photographers, engineers, producers, graphic designers and DJs. They consistently change the game and deliver a fully unified and realized artistic vision.
FOMO favourite, KAYTRANADA is back down under, after massive shows on the 2018 tour, when his highly revered album 99.9% was released. The Haitian-born, Canadian-raised producer is heading back to our shores in 2020 with a new album and we’re more than pumped.
You may recall US powerhouse LIZZO revealing some Australian tour news via her Instagram earlier this year. Those who connected the dots get a gold star – she will indeed be belting out hits like “Juice” and “Truth Hurts” on the FOMO stages, for her very first visit down under.
French producer, singer, songwriter and man of many hats MADEON burst onto the scene in 2011 with his mad mash-up “Pop Culture” famously sampling 39 tracks. He hasn’t stopped since and his track “Shelter” has clocked up 115+ million streams on Spotify alone. He’ll be heading our way with his recently released track “All My Friends” and more from his forthcoming album.
Self taught multi-instrumentalist, with a combined 3 billion streams, JAX JONES will bring a huge set to FOMO, along with previously announced genre-bending South London lord OCTAVIAN, fresh from dropping his latest mixtape Endorphins. Italy’s MEDUZA will be heading to Australia for the first time, to receptive ears – he currently has the #1 most Shazamed song in the country right now, “Piece Of Your Heart”.
Joining Lizzo for some serious girl power, we welcome US rapper and recent XXL Freshman inductee RICO NASTY, Canadian bass queen WHIPPED CREAM and our very own NINAJIRACHI. Australian cricket-loving, hip-hop rascal and breakout star of 2019 CHILLINIT and French house producer DOMBRESKY will add to the FOMO fever.
WHAT’S NEW FOR FOMO 2020?
FOMO will keep some key elements that help make the festival so special, in particular, the unique philosophy of ONE STAGE, which of course means NO CLASHES, which means that you, your friends and friends you haven’t met yet, get to PARTY TOGETHER. It’s our 5th anniversary in Brisbane and after four consecutive sold out years, we’re celebrating by upgrading our capacity at a new venue. Melbourne is moving venues too and we’re very excited to settle in to our new homes in both cities. Plus, you asked for it, so we’ve added a VIP ticket offering with some serious perks, including expedited entry lane, a swish area with fancy loos, shade, seating, phone charging facilities, exclusive bar offerings and two free standard drink cards.
