Love Police regrets to announce the cancellation of G. Love’s May Australian solo shows.
With the cancellation of Blues On Broadbeach on Friday, and of course the current restrictions, it is clear that G.Love’s run of Australian solo shows, which was to include side shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, cannot proceed.
All ticket purchasers will receive an automatic ticket refund back on to the credit card used to make the original purchase – so there is no immediate action to take for now. Due to the volume of refunds being processed, this may take up to 10-15 working days to complete depending on purchasers’ financial institutions.

G. Love makes his return to Australian shores in 2020, freshly celebrating the release of his stellar new record, The Juice, with a sweet solo tour.
WED 13 MAY – NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB, MELBOURNE
THUR 14 MAY – MARY’S UNDERGROUND, SYDNEY
SAT 16 MAY – BLUES ON BROADBEACH
SUN 17 MAY – THE JUNK BAR, BRISBANE
Co-produced and co-written with four time Grammy award-winner Keb’ Mo’, the electrifying new album also features a slew of special guests including Robert Randolph, Marcus King and Roosevelt Collier.
The Juice sees G. Love blooming out of his bluesy, post-grunge, hip-hop tinged work with G. Love & Special Sauce, creating a magnificent jazzy and folky storm to compliment his roots. The result is electrifying in both its musical and lyrical content — “a fun record that’s not overly groovy, and a serious record that isn’t depressing,” writes Glide Magazine, referencing the record’s balance between the personal and the political.
G. Love has also released several animated videos for featured tracks including ‘Go Crazy’, ‘SoulBQue’ and ‘Shake Your Hair’.
G. Love’s extensive three-decade career has been one hallmarked by multiple moments of creativity and vibrancy, “I’m more inspired now I’ve ever been before,” he states; this tour seeks to celebrate and elevate this success to new, unshakeable heights — these shows can not be missed.
