Sydney’s Johnny Hunter proves to be wasting no time in doling out passionate and hard hitting music in these early moments of 2022.
Coming off the back of January’s ‘Cry Like A Man’, the four piece are back with new single ‘Endless Days’: a vibrant cut from the band’s forthcoming debut album that hurtles by, buoyed by a rich blend of guitars, percussion and rhythm.
‘Endless Days’ speaks to the blissfully chaotic elements of the broader Johnny Hunter project; a way to show fans and newcomers alike how the band has refined their musicality and the balance between dark and theatrical post-punk, and the New Wave-leaning influences that have made them such a unique group in recent years.
This March, Johnny Hunter will perform two special residencies in Sydney and Melbourne, calling the Botany View Hotel and Old Bar home throughout the month. Supported by a slew of fantastic support artists, it’s the perfect opportunity for the band and fans to reconnect ahead of the release of what’s standing out as being an important Australian new music release this side of 2022.
