Blues maestro Ash Grunwald played to an enthusiastic Thursday night crowd at Black Duck Brewery in Port Macquarie. The sold out gig brought together both new and long term fans. What a showman! Ash is the master of story telling and connecting with our emotions. He held the crowd enthralled and had a full dancefloor once things warmed up. Ash Grunwald has recently started looping again- his first foray since 2000, but who would have known? The beautiful Kylie Jane opened the gig, then joined Ash on stage for two tunes mid set, including an improvisation, and her captivating voice is certainly one to remember. If you get a chance to see Ash or Kylie on a stage near you- take it!
