Just when we thought our program for 2025 was complete, we received the wonderful news that one of Australia’s most revered songwriters – Sarah Blasko – will be joining us at the festival off the back of touring nationally for her recently released album I Just Need To Conquer This Mountain.
Also added to the lineup is the amazing Elana Stone. A founding member of All Our Exes Live in Texas, and fresh from touring with Missy Higgins’ band, Elana is an accomplished singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist in her own right and we can’t wait for her signature blend of folk, modern electronica, indie-pop and balladry to hit the stage.
More exciting news is that one of Canada’s best-loved roots singers Old Man Luedecke is making a long awaited return to BMMF. The masterful banjo player was last here in 2012 and we’re so happy to have him back.
But wait, there more! Australian/Fijian singer-songwriter Andrea Kirwin and her wife Claire Evelynn will be on the bill. With Andrea on vocals, guitar, harmonica, cigar box guitar and stomp combined with Claire on Celtic harp, their performances have been described by many as spellbinding.
Finally, for the young and young at heart, Woody’s World will be bringing his ukulele extravaganza to share the fun and joy of playing music.
These fantastic folk join our existing line up that’s bursting with talent, which you can check out in full on their website.

28th Blue Mountains Music Festival of Folk, Roots & Blues’ latest lineup announcement is no joke! It just keeps getting bigger with SIX more acts added to the bill.
We are pleased to announce three outstanding high-energy bands gracing our stages. Firstly we welcome the roots reggae dub dance explosion of 10-piece Blackbird Hum, from Sydney’s northern beaches. Also sure to fill up the dancefloor will be Amaidí, a brilliant group of four Celtic musicians from Brisbane who put the ‘rad’ in ‘Trad’. And look out for the outlandish and quirky Ungus Ungus Ungus – Australia’s premier peddlers of vaudevillian psychedelia who promise to take you on a global folktronica journey!
Outstanding local act Copperline will be joining us with their sweet alt-country tunes while the sensational troubadours We Mavericks aka Lindsay Martin (AU) and Victoria Vigenser(NZ) will join us with their glorious harmonies and touching melodies. Finally, talented local songstress Isobel Knight will be returning to the festival to enchant audiences.
