Australia’s favourite 2 x ARIA Award nominated musical misfits are back, breaking hearts and bones (mostly their own) after a ten-year long hiatus from the recording studio. With a new found vigour and a swag of new material, Butterfingers are officially back in the saddle and continuing to bend genres and the boundaries of good taste with a rare blend of obscenity, wit and charm.
After a massive return to the stage with an at capacity The Zoo over the weekend headlining the Mountain Goat Valley Crawl, Butterfingers are thrilled to announce their new single ‘Big Night Out’ which is set to be unleashed on the world Friday March 10th. But the good news doesn’t end there…the Brisbane legends will be heading out on a whirlwind national tour making stops in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in support of the new single.
With this being a very special limited capacity tour, fans will have the chance to grab fan presale tickets via www.butterfingers.info TODAY (Tuesday 14th of February) but must be signed up to the mailing to access.
GA Presales are available from Monday 20th of February.
Butterfingers’ new single ‘Big Night Out’ is the surprisingly upbeat summer anthem that details the tragic yet true events of lead singer Evil Eddie’s night on the town that left him hidden and physically trapped in a back alley with a broken spine.
Butterfingers are back – and there is no stopping them – much more to come…
