Celebrated Hillbilly Disco aficionado Claude Hay hits the east coast this May to celebrate the release of his new tune, ‘Love No More’.
‘Love No More’ returns Claude’s music to a rootsier place and intertwines bluesy slide guitar riffs, catchy call-response melodies and reggae grooves, as lyrically it councils a close friend through a divorce.
Claude is offering ‘Love No More’ as a free mp3 download from Soundcloud HERE.
Since releasing album number three, I Love Hate You, in 2012, Claude has completed six European tours, landing the biggest blues festivals in Netherlands and Belgium. He branched out with his hard-rock side project ‘The Gentle Enemies’, produced a live DVD of his one man band show, and has been working behind the scenes mixing tracks for other artists including Eddie Boyd and The Phatapillars, and The Swamp Stompers among others.
It’s become a tradition for Claude Hay to build a new custom guitar for each new recording he does and ‘Love No More’ saw the birth of ‘Jerri’ from a 10 litre Jerry can.
