Deena’s newest single ‘Come Over’ is a follow up to her hit single ‘Wanderlust’ from the debut album Lone Wolf, which has been hailed as Australian Independent Album of 2012 by Brisbane’s Traxx Radio. Her voice, well‐crafted lyrics and simple composition marry together to create a treat for the senses. ‘Come Over’ is a crowd favourite about the cheeky, coy nature of a lustful heart.
Deena, described as the lovechild of Jeff Buckley and KT Tunstall (results pending), has been on the road with her music for a little over a year and played in regional and metropolitan Australia, United States, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. At local performances, she is accompanied by Brisbane-grown band mates: Luke Sampson, Joe Fallon and Jack Killalea.
Deena will be embarking on a small tour throughout September - October celebrating her new single and music video for ‘Come Over’. She is also on the lineup for Caloundra Music Festival with the likes of Xavier Rudd, Boy & Bear and Blue King Brown. Known for her live performances, Deena lures listeners into an intimate conversation where her raw passion and energy come together to get into some of life’s most intricate and simple stories.
