Due to overwhelming demand, Gang Of Youths are excited to announce the addition of two massive, new performances to their upcoming angel in realtime. tour of Australia/Aotearoa.
The returning homegrown heroes will now stop at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Friday 5th August as well as add a second performance at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 13th August 2022. These new shows follow the exhaustion of tickets for the band’s first Melbourne performance at Rod Laver Arena on Friday 12th August, and come as shows in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Sandstone Point, Hobart, Auckland and Wellington also rapidly approach sell-outs.
These momentous new additions are only the latest landmark moments in what is shaping up to be the most-anticipated tour of the season.
In February, Gang Of Youths released their third album angel in realtime, which achieved a #1 ARIA Chart debut, a UK Top 10 debut and was honoured as triple j feature album. They also delighted fans by announcing the return of their very own festival, A More Perfect Union, with an all-star line-up in Hobart (TAS) on Sunday 14th August, featuring Arlo Parks, Cub Sport, Gretta Ray, Adam Newling and The Lazy Eyes and another unmissable bill in Sandstone Point (QLD) on Sunday 20th August featuring Matt Corby, Middle Kids, Budjerah, BLESSED, Becca Hatch and Romero.
In March, the band would sell out their biggest London headline show to date at the O2 Academy Brixton and release their first Amazon Original, an orchestral version of the album’s centrepiece ‘spirit boy’, available exclusively on Amazon Music.

Gang Of Youths announce they’re coming home for their biggest tour to date to launch their long awaited third studio album angel in realtime. – set to arrive on February 25th 2022.

The angel in realtime. tour will be held in Australia’s most spectacular arenas in July and August 2022, kicking off at Perth’s RAC Arena, then to Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, before heading to Melbourne’s iconic Rod Laver Arena. The band also return to Auckland and Wellington for their first Aotearoa headline shows in five years.
Fans in Brisbane and Hobart are advised not to despair, some very special announcements are coming soon.
