Horrorshow return to the stage with their most carefully crafted shows and biggest production to date. Revered for their live performances, the Sydney duo have patiently waited to finish their new record before bringing their audience a fresh and vibrant concert experience. They’ve never rested on their laurels, throwing party tours, acoustic recitals, and even symphony orchestra collaborations in concert halls. To some Horrorshow fans, it’s a religious experience, to others it’s an outlet for deeply held emotions, to all of them, it’s a heap of fun singing along to Solo.
Celebrating the release of their forthcoming 5th studio album NEW NORMAL (dropping this Spring) these shows will be a chance for Horrorshow to launch new songs and celebrate their much loved older classics. Taking to their socials only two weeks ago, after 22 hours straight in the studio, a triumphant Solo and Adit announced the album’s completion. Excited and exhausted they cheered, “We’re so proud of it, we can’t wait for you to hear it!”.
The first tastes of the album have been dotted throughout the year, with memorable bops like ‘Rescue’, the hard hitting and dramatic ‘The Same feat. I.E’ and their most recent drop ‘Eyes Closed’, which heads down memory lane whilst looking forward. Embraced and admired by fans new and old, the excitement of what’s to come from this incredible record will no doubt resonate throughout this tour. Solo expands on their excitement to hit the road:
“After a big couple of years of musical and personal growth we’re so excited to hit the road for the New Normal Tour! Performing songs live for crowds is really when they come alive for the first time – above all, we’re looking forward to feeling that connection with our supporters which we love and appreciate so much.”
