Jack Colwell is excited to announce a national tour in celebration of his ambitious new EP, When The World Explodes. Colwell will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Canberra with special guest Miles Brown (The Night Terrors) in tow for all shows except Canberra.
The Remakes tour gives Colwell an opportunity to perform his material in various configurations. In Sydney, he will play at the Opera House with a string ensemble, while the Melbourne show is taking place at iconic rock venue The Tote with Jack’s full band. A second full-band show is scheduled for Brisbane. He will play in intimate acoustic mode in Adelaide and Canberra.
Other guests appearing on the Remakes tour include Karina Utomo (High Tension) in Melbourne and Marcus Whale (performing a one-off acoustic set) in Sydney, plus some of Australia’s best emerging electronic musicians across the country.
When The World Explodes features remixes (or “remakes”) of Colwell’s songs by some of the world’s most lauded producers: HEALTH, Fennesz, Ash Koosha, Rabit, Marcus Whale, and Roly Porter. Like the EP, the Remakes tour will give audiences a chance to hear Colwell’s compositions in striking new configurations.
