With three sold out performances behind them, The Jungle Giants continue to travel the country. The ‘Tuss’ tour comes straight off the back of The Jungle Giants’ first international performances at 2014’s South By South West Festival. Between SxSW and their current tour The Jungle Giants spent a weekend in Brisbane filming a clip for their song ‘A Pair Of Lovers’ in a secret Brisbane warehouse.
Directed by Brisbane film maker Dan Graetz, the clip features Kenny Aitken, the younger brother of The Jungle Giants’ guitarist Cesira Aitken. Anthony Pink – the band’s long-time Tour Manager, friend and FOH engineer – features alongside Kenny on stunts.
“The whole purpose of the clip was to come out of it at the end of it with a mirror ball suit,” says The Jungle Giants’ front man Sam Hales. “We just added the motorbike, lasers and smoke machines to fill out the 3 minutes.”
The Jungle Giants will soon visit regional centres throughout the country as part of the 2014 Groovin The Moo festival. Next month the band will perform in Mildura as part of triple j’s One Night Stand on Saturday May 17 alongside Illy, RÜFÜS, Dan Sultan and fellow Brisbane residents Violent Soho.
