The wait is over! Frontier Touring and AEG Live are thrilled to confirm that global superstar Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour will land in stadiums across Australia and New Zealand in March 2017.
Fans have been waiting with anticipation for this news since the Purpose World Tour kicked off in the United States earlier this year. These will be Bieber’s first Australian and New Zealand shows since 2013’s acclaimed Believe Tour and his first ever stadium performances in our country.
The Australian and New Zealand leg of the Purpose World Tour will kick off at Perth’s nib Stadium on Monday 6 March before making its way through Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland. Bieber will be joined at all shows by EDM’s youngest superstar Martin Garrix.
The Purpose World Tour has already wowed fans and critics alike across the United States, Canada and Japan and will tour throughout Europe before landing in Australia and New Zealand next March. With more than 100 huge shows on the tour and close to a million ticket sales globally, there is no doubt that Bieber is at the top of his game with this tour.
Touring in support of his fourth studio album Purpose – which debuted at #1 in over 100 countries and has sold over 8 million copies worldwide – lucky ticketholders can look forward to hearing worldwide smash hits including ‘Love Yourself’ (6x Platinum), ‘What Do You Mean?’ (5x Platinum) and ‘Sorry’ (4x Platinum) live for the very first time.
Adding to the hype, Bieber will be joined at all shows by Dutch DJ, record producer and musician Martin Garrix. Since bursting onto the scene at just 17-years-old with mammoth track ‘Animals’, Garrix’s unmistakable super-charged riffs and powerhouse production have seen him become a fixture at the top of the charts and in DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ poll.
In high-demand across the globe, Garrix’s status as a DJ couldn’t get much bigger with packed-out performances at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Amsterdam Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival under his belt. Alongside all the favourites, audiences at these shows will be among the first to hear Garrix’s latest track ‘In The Name Of Love’ (ft. Bebe Rexha) live, a sublime slice of dance/pop.
There’s no doubt about it, tickets to the Australian and New Zealand leg of Bieber’s Purpose World Tour will be hot property. With no further dates to be added, fans best act quick for the chance to witness this international superstar at the top of his game – don’t miss out!
