A true nomadic troubadour, Kim has locked in a jam-packed schedule of travelling and performing around Australia across 6 incredible months. Kicking things off in December, Kim will be journeying thoroughly through all six states across the country. He’ll be playing a massive run of regional shows as well as cities including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart with an additional show in Canberra.

Kim will be performing in picturesque National Parks, botanic gardens and natural amphitheaters as well as some of Australia’s most renowned venues. Living up to the tour name, gorgeous beaches, lush bushland, bustling cities and historical towns will serve as backdrops on Kim’s ‘Lovely’ run.

Kim’s recent releases ‘Reflecting’, ‘Wonder’, ‘Calm The Sea’ and ‘Hobbies’ offer sonic insights into his forthcoming album It’s Lovely To Have You Here. The singles have been praised by industry and fans alike, with AU Review calling ‘Calm The Sea’ a “a cozy, wholesome and warming hug of a folksong” and Happy Mag cherishing ‘Hobbies’ saying, “The message is reassuring enough to sustain you for the rest of the year.

Staying true to his wanderlust spirit, Kim recently wrapped up his 16 date tour of Canada and is soon to return to Europe for another whirlwind run, headlining a stack of shows across the continent in November.

Since 2009, Kim Churchill has been a staple in the Australian and International folk scene. Striking a chord across the globe with his sentimental songwriting and acoustic sound, Kim has played stellar sets at renowned festivals including Glastonbury Music Festival, Montreal’s International Jazz Festival and South By South West, along with a stack of home grown festivals. Raised on the coastal town of Merimbula, Kim’s decade long industry experience spreads far and wide, with the songwriter previously crowned Australia’s National Youth Folk Artist of the Year and nominated for the National Live Music Awards Roots Act of the Year.
