[News] KING STINGRAY ANNOUNCE NATIONAL TOUR

After a whirlwind year of festival appearances, TV performances and award nominations, King Stingray have announced their first ever national tour, kicking off in Feb 2022.

Despite the many challenges thrown at them, King Stingray have only managed to go from strength to strength in the 12 months since the release of their debut single ‘Hey Wanhaka’. Their second single ‘Get Me Out’ became an accidental lockdown anthem at the beginning of 2021, and their third release ‘Milkumana’ is undeniably the danceable breath of fresh air that Australia needed coming into a Summer of relative freedom.

Hailed as “one of the most exciting acts in the country today” (NME), the band also recently nabbed themselves triple j’s ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’ J Award for 2021.

Those lucky enough to catch the band live between lockdowns will have experienced the infectious energy that King Stingray bring to their live shows and they can be guaranteed that the vibe will be even stronger on this next run…

We’re so excited to rock the nation next year!” exclaims guitarist Roy Kellaway, “We’ve got our power stance engaged, ready to rock the dhukarr! See you all there!
