17 December 2019
Due to unprecedented demand, the Laneway Festival Sydney is now 16+ for the first time ever! A very limited first release of Sydney Youth tickets (available to 16 and 17 year-olds) will go on sale at 9am Wednesday 18 December for a limited first release price of $139.90 + fees. The first 1000 tickets purchased will also come with a limited edition Glow In the Dark poster, valued at $49.95.
This new development means that the festival is now open to fans 16 years and older in every Australian city. In a joint statement, Laneway Festival promoters say: “We’ve worked really hard with police and the Royal Botanic Garden Trust (the authority for The Domain) to make this happen. We’ve had a really positive experience in every other city and look forward to putting on another fun, safe event for a new generation of music fans at our new home in The Domain this February“.
