Much-loved Melbourne singer/songwriter Liz Stringer has announced her special guests for her ‘First Time for the Last Time’ tour, which kicks off this Friday, October 6. She has also added an extra date – Wednesday October 18 at the Grand Junction Hotel in Maitland – to the tour, which starts in regional Victoria and also takes in Canberra, Sydney and regional NSW, Brisbane, Darwin and Adelaide.
The ‘First Time for the Last Time’ tour brings to an end Liz’s work on her acclaimed 2021 album First Time Really Feeling, and anticipates a temporary relocation to the UK, which Liz announced on her socials: “I’m so excited to be heading out on the road, solo around Australia, to play songs from First Time Really Feeling. This will be the last tour that I dedicate to this album before I move to the UK for a while and work on getting a new record out to you, hence calling this tour ‘First Time for the Last Time’.”
As usual, Liz has also announced the availability of cheap tickets to the shows for those who might not be able to attend otherwise: “As always there are discounted community tickets allocated to each show if the ticket price is too much of a stretch right now.”
The special guests include Nathan May, Loni Rae Thomson, Hannah Acfield and Ben Leece, who is Liz’s guest on all NSW and QLD shows.
