Matt Corby has today announced details of the national ‘Telluric’ tour with dates through April and May, in support of the forthcoming release of his debut album, Telluric. Tickets to the album tour will be released through Matt’s official website from 9am on Friday February 12th.
In addition to news of the April tour, Matt has today shared ‘Knife Edge’ the third song to be unveiled ahead of Telluric’s release on Friday March 11th. It follows ‘Sooth Lady Wine’ and ‘Monday’, and will be available Friday 5th February.
Says Matt of the song: “Knife Edge’ is one of the most intentional songs on the record. You might even call it upbeat. It was written in the same little house in Berry where I wrote Monday and the rest of the record’.
Commencing in Sydney on Tuesday 12th April, Matt will be taking songs from his new album as well as well-known tracks from his previous 4 EPs into theatres across the country. Currently touring overseas, Matt will finish his US and Canadian tour, which sold out in 5 minutes, this week with two shows in NYC before crossing the Atlantic for a 25 day headline UK and European tour which includes sold out shows in London’s iconic Roundhouse, Oslo, Amsterdam and Brussels.
