We knew there was something magical back in 2015 when Tom Snowdon joined #1 Dads onstage to perform ‘Return To’ and their cover of FKA Twigs’ ‘Two Weeks’. For anyone who got to see the pair, now performing as No Mono, on stage for last year’s Islands part 1 tour, that initial spark had matured into a near spiritual experience. Iansek’s broad sonic textures and Snowdon’s commanding stage presence, paired with heady lazers, hushed audiences from Alice Springs to the Sydney Opera House.
Now, having just released sister album Islands part 2, we can look forward to a national tour this August/September. With the completion of the Islands series, the band will soon be parting ways for a time to work on their other creative projects. These dates could be the last opportunity to see the band for a while! So, what can we expect from the shows this time?
