Sydney boys, Palms, release their debut record Step Brothers today. The album is a collection of razor-sharp tunes, which will definitely be the soundtrack to your summer.
Palms was formed by Al Griggs (vocals, guitars, writing of songs) and Tom Wallace (drums, vocals) after their former collective Red Riders disbanded in 2011. Al and Tom began recording some tunes in the kitchen of Owen Penglis (Straight Arrows, Royal Headache), and before long they had a record, Step Brothers. Dion (guitar) and Brendan (bass) were recruited to round out the spunky quartet.
In celebration of the album, Palms will soon embark on an East Coast tour.
