Indie-folk fave, ARIA award winner and all round Australian music darling, MATT CORBY will be gracing the stage at Party In The Paddock this year, off the back of huge festival appearances globally and what has been noted as a career defining set to tens of thousands at Splendour in the Grass back in July. With multiple platinum-selling releases under his belt, CORBY’s incredible live performances and vocal prowess have cemented him as one of the country’s foremost singer-songwriters.
Joining him on the line-up that never ends, are the internationally successful dynamos, electronic duo HERMITUDE, whose hits ‘The Buzz’, ‘HyperParadise’ and ‘Searchlight’ have led them to open for artists such as Dizzee Rascal, RJD2 and DJ Krush. Also having appeared at SXSW, Governor’s Ball and Lollapalooza, HERMITUDE’s reputation for producing an electrifying live show precedes their appearance at this year’s Party In The Paddock.
DUNE RATS will make their triumphant return to the rolling White Hills of the Paddock. The Brisbane three-piece have won their fame both in Australia and around the world with hits ‘Bullshit’, and ‘Scott Green’. A festival favourite for their grungy, garage rock, larrikin charm and production, Paddock pals are set to be frothin’ when they hit the stage.
The line-up also features a host of exciting international stars, including multi-award winning New Zealand duo BROODS, and one of the UK’s most intriguing new faces, MAHALIA.
These incredible overseas stars are joined by a host of the country’s most exciting acts, from the senator of hip hop BRIGGS, pop heavyweights JACK RIVER, COSMO’S MIDNIGHT, MALLRAT and ODETTE, dance icons SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM, to indie rock favourites LIME CORDIALE, THE CHATS, DEAR SEATTLE, THE VANNS, and THE DEAD LOVE.
With ticket options from camping to single day available, revellers are encouraged to make the festival their own. Those wanting to get their boogie on the hay bales for the whole three days can purchase 2 or 3 night camping tickets, while those who prefer to get kitted in their own accommodation before the fun can purchase single day or multi-day tickets.
Shuttle buses will be departing to and from Launceston so your transport is sorted. Head to the website to peep the lineup breakdown and choose the best Paddock adventure for you.
For the keenest beans (and those looking to get first dibs on the prettiest camping spots) the Paddock’s Thursday night festivities will be in full swing, featuring pumped up performances from JACK RIVER, THE CHATS, ODETTE, DEAR SEATTLE, I KNOW LEOPARD, MIIESHA and HURRICANE YOUTH not to be missed!
More than just the magical music, Party In The Paddock also features a packed complement of comedy sets, yoga classes, guest speakers, art, market stalls, and more cool and crazy projects set to unfold across the three days. Those needing to put up their dancing shoes and chow down on some Tassie tucker can sit back and be entertained by all of the above!
Whether you’re a one-night wonder or a weekend warrior, a trip to the Paddock is one you’ll be reminiscing on for years to come. Ready to lock it in? Well don’t miss the party!
