After four years in the wilderness, and three failed COVID reschedules in 2021, the crew at Dashville are more than ready to deliver this classic event, full to the brim with essential winter bursting times. Considered the more sinister little sister to the famed Gum Ball Music Festival, the live entertainment portion for the prestigious oversized dinner party is a very important part of the banquet, and it’s now ready to serve.

In 2022, Dashville is stoked to announce the return of the band that special guested at the very first event back in 2007, Newcastle’s very own international ska punkers THE PORKERS. Joining the Porkers is a whole bunch of specially selected bands, all briefed on the essential need to get everyone’s boogie on in the bush.

Taking care of the rock is Melbourne’s MONEY FOR ROPE, and Sydney psych main stayers THE LAURELS. Dishing up the funk and soul is local Newcastle lords POW WOW, fun lovin’ favourites BURGER JOINT, progressive youngsters WELL?, Sydney’s gorgeous ALICE TERRY and the very slick rig of THUNDERFOX. Hunter psychobilly gurus CASINO RUMBLERS will make a long awaited return, as will the supreme blues of FRANK SULTANA BLUES BAND and kicking the day off is your new favourite band RACING BIRDS.

Kicking off at midday, the days entertainment will also feature a number of special guest comedians, which will be announced shortly.

Not one to slouch, Dashville have also just announced a Friday evening DASHVILLE NIGHTS concert on the Friday 1st July, giving people the added option to camp two nights and make a weekend of it. Friday night features three great local acts SLOW CINEMA, CORMAC GRANT BAND and DAPHZIE

A little more pagan then pig, with equal measure of decadence and debauchery, PigSty in July honours an age old tradition of winter feasting in a celebration at the deepest, darkest time of the year.

Combine the feast with a popular ‘second-hand formal’ dress code and a huge display of live music, comedy and a few toasty bonfires and the tone is set for a great PIG day out with friends, with the option to camp onsite or catch the bus home.

Unfortunately you’ll have to leave the piglets at home as this one is fully licensed, adults only (+18).

Sow babes what are you waiting for?
