The unholy high priest of psychobilly, Reverend Horton Heat, will be back in Australian for a series of high octane shows this September and October.
Loved and adored by a legion of devoted Australian fans, Reverend Horton Heat has blazed a scorching trail across the decades with his hard-livin’, Hillbilly anthems. In a modern world obsessed with the latest online sensation, The Reverend and his killer band are amongst the last true keepers of the old-school flame, seriously ferocious, giving no quarter on stage, as their reputation duly attests. For Australian rockers this will be a chance to drink up and celebrate once again the fact that true rock ‘n’ roll is safe in the hands of one of its finest practitioners!
Kicking off on Friday, September 23, the rockabilly legends bring their white-hot rock & roll to Brisbane for the first time in three years. Very few artists deliver a more blistering statement onstage than the mighty Reverend Horton Heat.
The Texas trio recently released an animated video for ‘Hardscrabble Woman’, the flip-side of their Record Store Day 7 inch, which includes the previously unreleased ‘Lying To Myself’.
