[News] SIX60 ANNOUNCE COTERIE AS SPECIAL GUEST ON FORTHCOMING AUSTRALIAN TOUR

With their Australian tour just a month away, SIX60 have today announced Perth based band Coterie as special guest across all dates.

Coterie have earned a reputation as one of most electrifying live acts on both sides of the Tasman. Riding off the back of their first hit single Cool It Down, brothers Tyler, Joshua, Brandford and Conrad encompass an authenticity often lost in modern music. Immersed in a culture of surf and art, the band has developed a unique blend of soulful rock music with perfect 4 part harmonies, and have amassed more than 5 million streams.

Tickets for SIX60’s Australian tour have seen massive demand, with additional dates added to the band’s schedule. Fans are urged to secure tickets quickly, with new shows in Brisbane and Perth selling fast, and ticket allocation nearly exhausted for the original Brisbane, Melbourne and new Sydney shows.

The New Zealand based powerhouse group will play a huge string of shows across Australia, commencing in Brisbane with two shows at the Riverstage on April 17 and 18, before heading to Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on April 20, Melbourne’s MCA on April 21, Red Hill in Perth for shows on April 23 and 24, and concluding with two shows at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on April 28 and 29.
Last year SIX60 made headlines globally with their record-breaking concert at Eden Park. They became the first musical act to perform at the National Stadium of New Zealand, Eden Park, at the time delivering the certified biggest show of the year globally, with more than 50,000 people in attendance.

The multi-platinum selling SIX60 remain one of the biggest New Zealand groups ever, and quietly stand out as a global phenomenon. Their 2020 NZ concert tour sold more than 130,000 tickets and their 2021 tour, SIX60 Saturdays, sold in excess of 100,000 tickets. Their 2019 self-titled album reached #8 on the ARIA Albums Chart and has amassed over 26 million streams to date. Their 2015 album made history in New Zealand, breaking the record for most weeks on New Zealand’s Top 40 Albums Chart, beating Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon with 298 consecutive weeks.
