Following their huge Good Mood Summer Tour back in January, and to celebrate the release of their new music, The Rubens are heading back out on the road for their Black Balloon Queensland Tour. The run will see the five-piece hit 9 major centres across Queensland in May 2024, before headlining The Big Chill Festival in Armidale on Saturday, 18 May.
2023 welcomed the first taste of new music from the band, with singles ‘Good Mood’ and ‘Pets & Drugs’ being featured on big, end of year playlists and coming in high on triple j’s Hottest 200. The release of ‘Liquid Gold’ in February set the stage for what promises to be a huge year of music for The Rubens.
