Trophy Eyes have announced they will be embarking on an Australian tour in February 2017, kicking off in their hometown of Newcastle before trekking around the nation. This will be Trophy Eyes biggest Australian tour to date, and the first on home soil since they supported The Amity Affliction, which sold out in less than 10 minutes.
Trophy Eyes released their stellar new album Chemical Miracle this past Friday to a wave of critical acclaim in which Kerrang! says the band “prove themselves to be true artists“, while Rock Sound declares “they’ve marked themselves out as a forward-thinking band that could truly go anywhere from here“. At home, Hysteria Mag says Chemical Miracle is “guaranteed to propel them into the punk rock stratosphere” while Blunt Mag thinks “we have a contender for album of the year”.
Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, Trophy Eyes have created a new wave of alternative punk music. Chemical Miracle is the follow up to the band’s debut full length Mend, Move On, which was released in late 2014. Their debut earned them band Blunt Magazine’s “Best Newcomer Award” in their annual Readers’ Choice Awards and set the stage for a massive 2015, playing 130 shows across 21 countries. Fans across the globe got to witness Trophy Eyes energetic and impassioned performances with Neck Deep in the UK, during a headline tour of mainland Europe with As It Is as well as a full North American Vans Warped Tour across the ocean. Eventually the band went home and did several laps of Australia before returning to the UK and Europe for Warped Tour.
Trophy Eyes kicked off 2016 by setting off a dust storm at Unify Gathering 2016 with Australian heavyweights Parkway Drive, Tonight Alive and Hands Like Houses, and the boys just finished up a sold out run in Australia supporting The Amity Affliction and are currently joining them in North America on their most successful stateside tour of their career to date, which has seen The Amity Affliction sell out shows and play to thousands of fans in the biggest venues they’ve played on the continent.
